Metal Containers

For drum transport & storage, GreenTerpene® uses metal phenolic-lined 55 Gallon / 210 Liter drums. Using unlined steel drums for transport or storage is not recommended. GreenTerpene® drums are UN rated.

For storage tanks, GreenTerpene® recommends stainless steel tanks.

Plastic Container

All plastic containers used by GreenTerpene® in packaging products display the Society of Plastics Industries’ three-sided triangular arrow to make recycling easier.

1, 2.5 & 5 gallon containers are readily recyclable and classified as 2:HDPE (High Density Polyethylene). Fluorinated plastic containers resist paneling and are impervious to d-Limonene.

1 pint & 1 quart containers are readily recyclable and classified as 1:PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate). PETG containers are impervious to d-Limonene and do not require fluorination.

* in some states or provinces our 1 pint & 1 quart containers are readily recyclable and classified as 2:HDPE (High Density Polyethylene). Fluorinated plastic containers resist paneling and are impervious to d-Limonene.

Using plastics other than PET/PETG or fluorinated HDPE for transport or storage, such as Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE), Polypropylene (PP), Polystyrene (PS), or Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) is not recommended.
