Packaging & Bottling
Glass Containers & Spray Bottles > Pint, Quart, & Gallon
All glass containers used by GreenTerpene® are readily recyclable.
Our pint, quart, and gallon containers are readily
recyclable. Glass
containers are 100% impervious to citrus oils, d-Limonene, and other plant terpenes and do not require fluorination.
In addition, glass is the only packaging material that is considered GRAS "Genarally Recognized as Safe" by the FDA.
All plastic container closures "Caps" used are cone phenolic lined seal. They
are the same container closures used for pharmaceutical ingredients and
preparations. While plastic, the phenolic cone seal guarantees the
integrity of the product. In addition, they are FDA approved. They are superior to foam or foil lined
seals typically used in packaging of cleaning products.
Our chemical resistant trigger sprayer features the latest dispersion technology available. Internal components of nylon, glass, & stainless steel were designed to withstand GreenTerpene™ High Purity d-Limonene.
Metal Containers > 5 Gallon Tight Head Mini-Drums & 55 Gallon Tight Head Drums
For
5 gallon mini-drum & 55 gallon drum transport & storage, GreenTerpene® uses new FDA Compliant food grade metal
epoxy phenolic-lined 5 Gallon Mini-Drums & 55 Gallon / 210 Liter drums. All drums used by GreenTerpene® are UN
rated. Both 5 & 55 Gallon drums have standard 2" & 3/4" T-Type bungs for ease of use. A 3/4" Nylon Faucet is provided with every 5 gallon mini-drum. 2" Nylon Faucets are available upon request for an additional fee.
Using unlined steel drums
for transport or storage is not recommended.
For storage tanks, GreenTerpene® recommends 316 stainless steel vats or tanks. The use of Plastic IBC "Intermediate Bulk Containers" is not recommended.
Plastic Faucets & Accessories > 3/4" Faucet, 2" Faucet
All
plastic components used by GreenTerpene® in packaging products display
the Society of Plastics Industries’ three-sided triangular arrow to make
recycling easier.
Using plastics other than PET/PETG or
fluorinated HDPE for transport or storage, such as Low Density
Polyethylene (LDPE), Polypropylene (PP), Polystyrene (PS), or Polyvinyl
Chloride (PVC) is not recommended.
